don’t get me wrong, it’s an absolute 5-star read. it just might not be the best read for right now!! i did recently read “glossy”, the emily weiss / glossier biography which if you haven’t read i would HIGHLY recommend. so interesting and i devoured it, it’s so easy to read
lol very true, it helps that the cover is also pretty hahah! i found it to be pretty balanced about the whole “girlboss” thing, and it felt cool reading about beauty and pop culture “history” i actually lived through and remembered
oh and if you’re looking for a summer / being in your 20s / living in a big city / no plot just vibes kinda book? happy hour by marlowe granados is 👌, absolute chef’s kiss
