what everyone was wearing at the lana show
On Sunday, I went to see Lana Del Rey in Hyde Park. You could feel the excitement in the air; prior to her recent Glastonbury set, I couldn’t actually find the date of the last time she played in the UK, so it must have been a long while ago. And everyone’s patience was rewarded — her set was magical.
It turns out that Lana fans 🤝 Lucy Moon subscribers — I met so many of you in the park! Thank you to everyone who said hi, it was a bit of a shock as I rarely bump into people who follow me in the real world these days. It was so nice to chat to you, and to also see your incredible fits. Let me tell you: everyone dressed for the occasion.
The sad girls were out in full force for this one, and people pulled out all the stops with their outfits. I was struck by how the look was so uniform — to the point where people who had dressed more conventionally stood out from the crowd. I want to break down some of the key pieces that everyone was wearing and talk about the aesthetic, officially from a trend standpoint but mainly because I was enamoured by the vibes. And from what I saw on Sunday, you’re likely a part of this demographic too and might want some wardrobe inspiration! If you’re building your summer-to-autumn capsule and consider yourself a proud part of this demographic, let me help you out.
