Hi sweetpeas 🫛 I have no idea where this name has come from btw but we’re too far in now to drop it. Hope you’re well and enjoying the extra hour of sun?!
March was a busy month, mainly on YouTube where I cranked out four videos (who is she?) and raced to hit the deadlines on some Spring campaigns. It’s such a relief when work is coming in, especially with brands you really like, but I’m not the best at time management so when push comes to shove and my schedule is full, all other creation falls to the wayside. This month was a good reminder that this is not how I like to operate — no one wants to see sponsored posts 24/7, and I definitely don’t want to post like that. Now I’m working harder to stagger my upcoming deadlines and leave myself enough time to actually live my life, make music and film vlogs 🌸
wearing —

As the weather warmed up, I dug a few jackets out of my wardrobe and started some spring layering. This vintage golf jacket (left) was something Jack found when he was thrifting in California — he’s never really worn it so I’ve lovingly adopted it into my rotation. Last year I bought this Carhartt jacket, I like the stripe detail a lot. I also discovered a jacket I picked up as part of a campaign with & Other Stories; I didn’t know how to style it last year but today it feels like a natural fit in my wardrobe.
I have a hefty S/S wish list developing right now — I’m pretty happy with my summer wardrobe but there’s a few things I want to add or update, namely tops and shoes. My trainers in particular are destroyed, the fabric has completely rubbed through on the heels. I’ve started a Pinterest board as a more practical way to store the links; every time I find something I want, I save it to a 2025 board with the little Chrome extension. I’m standing strong right now and have only bought one pair of shoes (some Nike Shox) but please let me indulge a little and share the rest of my favourites here.
watching —
Like most people in the UK, I watched Adolescence last week. I was blown away by not only the empathetic, sensitive approach the writers took to the story, but also the filming??! I can’t imagine how hard that series was to make, in every facet. Nothing I have to say will add substantially to the discussion that’s already being had, but if you haven’t seen it yet I’d encourage you to give it a watch.
listening —
I discovered Harp’s wonderful Tiktok page this month and I am obsessed with her music recommendations. I’ve listened to so many nineties dance pop albums on her recommendation, a palette I’ve wanted to explore for a while but didn’t know where to start.
As always, you can follow my regular rotation playlist Honey below 🍯
Two fashion podcasts for you: I’m enjoying Bella Freud’s Fashion Neurosis interviews; she has access to some really interesting people, and I particularly enjoyed her conversation with Jonathon Anderson. Secondly, I’m finding Business of Fashion’s analysis of the industry on their podcast The Debrief really insightful. They break down one BoF investigation or article every week with the author who wrote it — it’s a great way to hear more about their research and get a look at some reporting that’s typically paywalled.
following —
This interview with Victoria Monet’s manager was fascinating. There’s so much in here about how to brand yourself as an artist, when to sign to a label and sexism in the music industry. You can feel the power of when someone truly believes in your work radiate through Rachelle’s narrative.

I’m shooting the album art for my first song this week!! I am buzzing to bring a little song baby into the world, it feels so intimate and terrifying but honestly a relief to be sharing a more permanent creation with you? Sometimes videos can feel fleeting, and making music is so important to me — I feel like I’ve been working towards this for a long time, so I’m excited to get going with the pre-release work.
Yesss to Nike shox !! They were cool when I was in like sixth grade and I’m so glad they’re coming back - I still remember the pink pair my dad got me for my birthday! And totally agree about adolescence - it was unbelievable!
