It’s been a weird year to be a creator — and a subscriber — on the internet. The landscape has evolved in an overall positive way, and I love that the social space is evolving, growing and diversifying! However as the platforms change, so do their algorithms, and many amazing creators get lost in the tide. Today I wanted to share some of my favourites with you. There’s a lot of fashion creators in here but also some essayists and comfort channels (read: the history of London’s transport that I watch when I do my skincare). I hope this warms up your feed ready for the cold weather, and if I introduce you to one new creator you love then I’ve done my job!

Let’s start with YouTube; I told you about Good Work last time we spoke and honestly I’m still rushing to their channel every time they upload. I avidly consume videos about music; Mic The Snare consistently release great music video essays and Kenny Beats relaunched The Cave, one of my favourite content series. The episode with Ski Mask is so good, I’m buzzing to see who’s next. Jay Foreman and Jago Hazzard are my comfort channels, I put their London videos on as I’m doing my night routine to wind down. If you think that’s weird, you can quietly see yourself out.

To read the rest of my creator recommendations and get access to my full archive, including future letters and voice notes, consider becoming a paid subscriber.

If you’re looking for content that’s adjacent to mine, I adore watching Sophia Chang’s beautiful vlogs where she documents her life in her thirties. Finally, understitch’s video essays are teaching me so much about the business of fashion.
